LinuxWorld draws buyers as open source is on many minds

Even as LinuxWorld Conference & Expo in San Francisco was drawing thousands of devotees searching for solutions to their individual development needs, a few hundred miles away, the open-source operating system was also on the minds of computer-security professionals at the Black Hat Conference in Las Vegas. At Black Hat, an IBM vice president, Bob Sutor, made a series of eight predictions about the future of Linux and open-source technology in his keynote speech.
