Analysis: U.S. recovery isn't jobless anymore

U.S. unemployment data show 131,000 jobs were lost in July but 71,000 private-payroll positions were created. The total was distorted by 143,000 temporary employees who worked on the census who were done with their work. "All things considered, the view is of an economy that continues to recover, adding private employment and utilizing (and paying) existing workers more," The Economist notes.
