Rep. Pence: It's "outrageous" to pass climate bill in a lame-duck session

President Barack Obama's top energy and environmental adviser, Carol Browner, said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" that a climate-change bill could still pass this year in Congress through a lame-duck session after the November election. But Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., who was on the same program, said it was "outrageous" for the bill's supporters to consider such a move.
