Eric Schmidt wants to help you find social media apps

Quixey, a search engine funded by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, aims to make it easier for social media users to find applications and widgets for their social networks. The tool has added Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Foursquare integration, and it indexes and categorizes tools and apps based on social chatter, blog posts, reviews and other third-party descriptions of their function.
