Banks reportedly slow proprietary bond-trading network efforts

Attempts by banks such as Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to launch proprietary bond-trading networks have slowed to a near halt, according to people familiar with the matter. Morgan's Bond Pool and Goldman's GSessions have slowed or stopped the number of bond-trading sessions after having run two per week during the year since they launched last summer, the people said.
