Banks say they're cooperating with U.S. inquiry on CDS

Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup say they are cooperating with the Department of Justice's investigation into the market for credit default swaps. In July 2009, the department sent civil investigative notices to banks that own Markit Group to determine whether they had unfair access to price data, sources say.
