Excess TV time can compromise children's learning, social skills

Two-year-olds' learning abilities and motor skills were reduced with every additional hour of TV watching, according to a Canadian study published in the journal Pediatric Research. More screen time was also linked to psychosocial problems, including victimization by classmates, when the children entered kindergarten, researchers said.
