Experts find association between psoriasis, diabetes

Psoriasis patients had higher mean Charlson comorbidity index scores and showed significant associations with comorbid conditions including diabetes alone or diabetes with systemic complications compared with people without psoriasis. "Physicians should be aware of these associations to provide comprehensive medical care to patients with psoriasis, especially those presenting with more severe disease," researchers wrote in JAMA Dermatology.
