Ky. educators aim to bond with students, families during home visits

Several school districts in parts of Kentucky are sending teachers and school counselors to students' homes to start building relationships even before the beginning of the academic year. The visits, which are new to some teachers, will continue through September. Educators say the home visits are part of efforts to develop bonds with families and show students that teachers and other school staff care about them.
