NTSB reports 2012 drop in civil aviation accidents

A report recently released by the National Transportation Safety Board announced that in 2012 there were 1,539 civil aviation accidents compared to 1,550 the previous year. However, the total number of fatal accidents in general aviation increased slightly. The NTSB has recently expressed a need to increase GA safety.
