OIG: Cuts to fraud investigations put seniors at risk

Fraud and abuse are rising, even as funding for investigations is drying up, according to the HHS Office of Inspector General. "Last year alone, we closed 1,200 fraud complaints due to lack of resources," said Gary Cantrell, deputy inspector general for investigations.
