Plan to change Tricare Prime service areas moves forward

Tricare Management Activity officials say the Defense Department is moving forward with its plan to cut Tricare Prime service areas as of Oct. 1. Officials are mailing out letters explaining the change and outlining service options to the 171,000 military retirees and family members expected to be affected.
