Report: Common core states continue to struggle with implementation

A new report from the Center on Education Policy at George Washington University reveals that schools in many of the 30 states that already have started implementing the Common Core State Standards still are grappling with problems. Among the issues cited in the report, based on a survey of state deputy superintendents or other officials, are personnel needs associated with the standards and providing educators with the necessary instructional resources, training and teacher-evaluation programs.
