Stihl has been able to boost its sales of outdoor power equipment by employing a "store-within-a-store" approach, according to this article. This approach groups together a variety of products from the same brand within a store to target brand-loyal customers. Products in the showroom must be well-stocked so customers are confident in the strength of the brand, said Michael Haney of in-store marketing at Stihl.
