UCSF researchers create tool to predict patient delirium

Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, created a tool to predict the likelihood patients will develop delirium during a hospital stay. The report in the Journal of Hospital Medicine said the tool gives points to four assessments done at patient admission, with higher scores raising the risk of delirium.
