University researchers teach N.C. middle-schoolers about solar power

Fourteen middle-schoolers in Winston-Salem, N.C., are working with Wake Forest University engineers during a summer camp to design and build a new type of solar device that uses less space to collect the sun's energy. Researchers are teaching students about the technology as well as the calculations and advanced measurements needed on the project.
