What's behind the recent decline in childhood obesity?

CDC Director Thomas Frieden is attributing a decline in childhood obesity -- announced this week -- to three factors. Frieden says efforts to promote exercise and nutrition among students, such as first lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" program, are a factor in curbing childhood obesity. Other factors are more emphasis on the nutritional content in government-provided foods and an increase in breast-feeding, he says.
