What's behind the recent decline in childhood obesity?

CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden is attributing a decline in childhood obesity -- announced earlier this week -- to three factors. Frieden says efforts to promote exercise and nutrition among students, such as first lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" program, are one factor in curbing childhood obesity. Other factors are more emphasis on the nutritional content of government-provided foods and an increase in breast-feeding.
