Modern roundabouts cropping up on U.S. roads

More U.S. intersections are starting to use roundabouts to manage the flow of traffic and reduce delays and crashes. A recent Federal Highway Administration study found that when fewer than 5,000 vehicles passed through an intersection in an hour, single and double roundabouts could reduce delays better than diamond designs.
