British schools authority sets up bullying database

In England, privacy advocates say Rotherham council's pilot program to create a database of bullying, violence and racial attacks must afford pupils the right to challenge the stored information. Helen Longland, the Council's assistant director of education, says the Sentinel for Bullying software simply replaces paper tracking and will make it easier for officials to analyze trends and patterns.
