Flea treatments prove toxic to cats

Some cat owners seeking to relieve their pets from the misery of fleas are inadvertently poisoning the animals with toxic treatments, the Buffalo News reports. Cats exposed to too much flea preventative or treated with flea medicines made for dogs can experience seizures and other neurological symptoms and the experience proves fatal for some.
