Hospitals begin to restrict use of social-networking sites

Hospitals are becoming more concerned about patient privacy and confidentiality when staff use Facebook and other social-networking sites while on duty. To ensure patient information is not posted online, some hospitals have blocked employees from using the sites at work and have fired employees for inappropriately discussing patient issues on the Internet.
