Hudgens, Sheffield vie for GOP nod in Georgia runoff

State Sen. Ralph Hudgens faces Maria Sheffield today in a runoff contest to decide the Republican nominee for Georgia insurance commissioner. During her campaign, Sheffield promised to work to limit the effects of recently passed health care legislation, while Hudgens has argued that combating the law would fall outside the role of the state's insurance commissioner. The winner of the contest will run against the Democratic nominee, Mary Squires, in the general election this fall.
