India's Muslim groups focus on improving schools

Numerous Muslim organizations in India say they will set up an education board with the goal of modernizing religious and nonreligious Muslim schools, as well as ensure that Muslim youth, including girls, have better educational opportunities. The board will create a common national curriculum for all affiliated schools and will monitor education quality.
