Microsoft to take a second run at the smartphone market

Microsoft is reportedly taking a second stab at smartphone development and is building a touch-screen handset, a mobile OS and a new mobile application aimed at finding parked motor vehicles, according to industry watchers. The vendor debuted its first cell phone effort this year with the Kin, but the device stayed on the market about two months.
