NYC airports to get full-body scanners next month

All three major airports in the New York City area will get full-body scanners next month, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Already in use at 43 airports around the country, the scanners bound for New York are among the 450 slated to be installed nationwide by year's end. The Port Authority did not announce how many scanners would be installed at each of the three airports.
