The Federal Reserve has been seen by many on Wall Street and in Washington, D.C., as the economic redeemer, according to The Wall Street Journal. The Federal Open Market Committee is meeting this week and is expected to help direct markets toward easier money, preventing deflation and reviving the recovery. Putting so much faith in the Fed's monetary policy as well as its chairman, Ben Bernanke, might be tempting but also dangerous, the newspaper notes.
