Plant resveratrol may help reduce inflammation

Resveratrol may reduce inflammation in humans that leads to heart disease, stroke and diabetes, researchers reported. Their study showed the popular plant extract, found primarily in red grapes, wine, peanuts, blueberries and cranberries, suppressed production of free radicals and the inflammatory protein tumor necrosis factor or TNF.
