Unemployed are not seeking available jobs, employers say

Employers are struggling to find available workers even though the jobless rate has climbed to 9.5% and 15 million people are unemployed, writes Mark Whitehouse. Unemployed workers have less incentive to find jobs because unemployment benefits were extended to 99 weeks, and the collapse of the real estate market has made it difficult for people to move to areas with job openings, economists and employers say.
