Community health centers receive $28M in federal grants

HHS on Tuesday awarded $28 million for community health centers, a move that will make health care available to an estimated 286,000 people. Sixty-seven groups will receive a share of the funding. Ten of them will use it to open community-based clinics, while the others will build facilities in new locations.
