Program offers specialized movie screenings for those with autism

An initiative called Autism Friendly Films is being piloted in the U.K. to offer special screenings of feature films tailored for children and adults with autism and other special needs. The screenings will include reduced sound, lower lighting, and more freedom for moviegoers to make noise or move around the theater.
