Tablet, smartphone owners use their devices differently, study finds

Almost two-thirds of tablet owners use their devices at home, while an almost identical proportion of smartphone owners use their devices on the go, according to a study by Nielsen, mobile ad network xAd and call measurement firm Telmetrics. Tablet users are also more likely to call up brands' websites, but there's a mix of website and application usage among smartphone users, depending on the type of product or service sought.
