The San Francisco Unified School District will expand a partnership with Education Outside to provide outdoor learning for students from four campuses to 22 in the coming school year. The focus of the program, officials said, is to help urban youths develop a connection with the environment through science education. Elementary and K-8 students will engage in various hands-on lessons, including measuring items for the school garden and writing in journals.
