Lawmakers urge more noise monitors at New York airports

New York lawmakers have sent a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey about increasing the number of noise monitors at the state's airports. "Noise monitors are so underutilized in the New York tri-state area, which is home to three of the nation's busiest airports," said Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., in a statement.
