Project makes churches focal point of weight-loss efforts

An Ohio State University program called "Walk by Faith" is pairing researchers with about 30 churches in five Appalachian states to help parishioners eat healthy and get more exercise. Churches get tool kits for diet and fitness classes, and participants receive pedometers and healthy-living recommendations.
