Survey: Most non-pay-TV homes don't pay for streaming either

Among the 14% of U.S. households that don't subscribe to a multichannel video service, 42% are paying for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus or some combination of the three, according to Leichtman Research Group. Four in 10 of those homes without traditional video services subscribe to Netflix, 11% get Amazon Prime and 7% have Hulu Plus. The report also found the number of only-over-the-air TV homes has dropped from 10% in 2010 to 8%, with 6% screening both over-the-air and over-the-top content.
