D.C.'s Kennedy Center suffers construction setback

Plans for the $650 million John F. Kennedy Center Plaza project have been postponed because it was due $400 million worth of funding that was cut from the federal highway and transit bill. The indefinitely postponed project will include a four-block pedestrian plaza, two new glass-and-steel buildings and a series of pools.
