Sands chief: Macau isn't Vegas

Las Vegas resorts and venues have served as showcases of art displays, photo exhibitions, dancers and musicians from Macau during Macau Week -- an event designed to show the region Vegas is a worthwhile cultural destination of its own. While the city is being developed into a major gaming capital, Las Vegas Sands President and Chief Operating Officer Bill Weidner said Macau doesn't have the infrastructure to surpass Las Vegas as the world's top casino resort destination.
