American Airlines announces in-flight Wi-Fi trials

American Airlines has announced trials for in-flight Wi-Fi service, which the company hopes to incorporate on a wider scale in the near future. "We understand that broadband connectivity is important to our business customers and others who want to use their PDAs and laptops for real-time, in-flight broadband communications," said American Airlines EVP Dan Garton.
