FTC soliciting data from 44 top marketers for children's study

Burger King, Kellogg, Pepsi and Sunkist are among the 44 food marketers that have been subpoenaed by the FTC to provide ad spending and other related data for a report to Congress on how food and drinks are marketed to kids, according to a list from the agency. The study is scheduled to take three years, but in the meantime, a government-industry task force is expected to make its suggestions to Congress on addressing the issue of children and food marketing.
