North Carolina condo would include green features, developer says

A proposed 15-story condominium building in Asheville, N.C., would use about half the amount of energy as a typical building its size, the developer said. Developer Rod Kagy said a rainwater collection system will supply water for flushing toilets, and solar panels will generate electricity. The city council will vote on the proposed Zona Lofts building on Aug. 21.
