Teens a hot retail target

Retailers are working to attract the teenage demographic and its disposable income by pushing trendy products with a youthful appeal, and they are reporting mixed results. Popular teen destinations Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale and American Eagle Outfitters reported poor sales in July, while department stores and niche retailers such as Buckle and Zumiez were doing better.
