Teen texts way to a spot in national championship

Like many teens, William Glass III, 14, sends hundreds of text messages a month, but his refusal to use abbreviations or abandon punctuation -- and his amazing speed in typing in text -- won him a semifinalist spot in a national text-messaging competition. Although he didn't win the top prize at that text-off, he did walk away with $800.
