Budget cuts to Calif. special services raise concerns for one family

A family's struggle to care for a daughter with life-threatening disabilities has been impeded by California's budget cuts to special services. Jessica Leoni, 12, suffers from the fatal disease Niemann Pick Type C and requires constant care. With cuts in state funding likely to affect the local center providing Jessica's care, therapy and medical supplies, her parents say they cannot see how they will uphold her standard of care.
