Legos help Michigan elementary-school students learn robotics

Teams of elementary-school children met last week on the campus of Michigan State University to practice for this year's First Lego League, an international competition. Learning math with Legos makes students note the differences between a computer program and what a robot can actually do, says Jeff Sakamoto, a chemical engineering and material science professor at Michigan State.
