ExpressJet's inability to keep its dozens of passengers from spending the night in a cramped airplane will likely provide more ammunition to those pushing passenger-rights legislation. The situation was created by a perfect storm of events including a tiny airport, cramped airplane and restrictive Transportation Security Administration rules.
