Survey: Access to loans improves for U.K. companies

A survey from the Confederation of British Industry found that more firms are saying credit availability has improved since May. "Credit availability has been getting more difficult for many months, so today's results are positive news," said Richard Lambert, director-general of the CBI. "It is unclear when bank lending will be flowing freely again, but for many firms, credit conditions are at least moving in the right direction."
