Energy efficiency is biggest challenge, engineers say

Finding ways to address energy efficiency is the biggest challenge facing the engineering profession, according to a survey of more than 40,000 engineers. The National Engineering Survey asked engineers to rank the problems they faced; other top challenges include wrestling with inadequate budgets, unrealistic deadlines, and inconsistent codes and regulations.
