FAA officials outline response to Va. airport plan

Federal Aviation Administration officials issued a response to the city's master plan for Danville Regional Airport in Danville, Va. The FAA called on the city to repair drainage problems on the airport's main runway, as well as line-of-sight issues. "Nobody is telling them (Danville city officials) they can't (have whatever length of widths they want); we're telling them what we will fund," said Terry Page, the FAA's manager of the Airports District Office for the Eastern Region.
