Frontier shakes up Houston operations with move to Hobby

Frontier Airlines plans to move its flight operations from Houston Intercontinental to close-in Houston Hobby Airport, effective Nov. 18. In announcing the change, a Frontier official praised Hobby's recent $250 million refurbishment and its proximity to downtown Houston. But the move could make it harder for Frontier passengers to transfer to other flights: Five airlines currently operate at Hobby, compared to 17 at IAH.
